     I was using my Maxisys, switched cars and came back to scanner and the screen is just scrolling? I can not turn it off or reset it. Any insight?

     hold the power button in until it shuts down.

     It wont, I tried that. At this point Im trying to run the battery down.

    For the heck of it I would try pulling off the screen protector as it may relieve  memory of a localized pressure point on the touch screen

     I have the same exact problem with brand new MaxiSys pro after software upgrade still waiting on Autel fro a fix.

     check the touchscreen, maybe something is between and irritate.Normally have the software nothing to do with the touchscreen.Keep it clean...lol.

    I am sorry for the problem. Seems it is the screen problem, it is suggested you contact your seller to get it repaired.
